The just-released White House Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence comes in at a little over 19,000 words.
It’s a hefty document. And buried within it are a number of time-specific actions that impact everything from establishing key committees to agency mandates to establishing research agendas.
These actions are important to anyone — or any organization — working on strategic approaches to developing and using AI in beneficial and responsible ways. But as the document stands, they are not straight forward to tease out — especially if you’re looking for a quick cheat sheet on what’s supposed to happen when
